COLONY Vampires – a unique twist on the vampire lore
Vampires exist among us. They can be your neighbor, your best
friend, a teacher for your child, etc.
They alter their aged appearance based upon the amount of blood they consume. They move to a new area, drink a lot of blood, and appear young. Slowly they limit their intake of blood and age, right in front of our unsuspecting eyes. After decades, they fake their death, move, and do it over and over again.
Most live quiet lives in an effort to blend in. Some, however, want power and control.
The COLONY is an elite group of vampires sworn to protect the President of the United States from these rogue vampires.

Hi. I’m Regina Morris, author of the COLONY vampire romances.
I fell in love with vampires many years ago and was thrilled when I discovered paranormal romances. I had no idea the genre even existed!
When I discovered authors such as JR Ward, Kerrelynn Sparks, Lynsay Sands, and so many others… I devoured their books. I was reading a book a week. Sure, that doesn’t sound too impressive, but I did have a young family at the time and I work a full time job outside the home.
As busy as I was, there was always time for a vampire romance!
I found that I enjoyed the books if they met some criteria.
1) I wanted the books to be full stories. NO cliffhangers!
2) I liked jumping into the books from anywhere in the series–meaning, each book was a stand-alone story.
3) I enjoyed the series where it was about a group of vampires and each story featured one of the team members.
4) I didn’t like it when the vampires were poor, starving, and had to hunt for food. Dark urban fantasies were good, but not the romance fix I was hoping to find.
5) I wanted HOT stories.
So when the idea of the COLONY came to me, I made sure to put into the series all aspects of the genre that I loved.
A reader can jump into my HOT series from any book and read about one of my team members.
Since I’m from a military background, I also wanted my vampires to be diverse. I have Caucasian, African American, Hawaiian, Catholic, and Jewish vampires… just to name a few. The military is diverse, and so should the COLONY.
I hope you enjoy my book series. You can find my Amazon author page here.
Thanks,
Regina Morris
