‘Eternal Service’ is now officially copyrighted!

I officially registered for the copyright of my first book, “Eternal Service”, today!

It was pretty easy to do. I went to www.copyright.gov and watched the power point video on how to register a new title as me being the single author contributing, and it was done in under 10 minutes.

Of course, getting a copyright is not required. The simple fact that you have published your books (or parts) onto your website, printed them out, and have records going back for a while that you have been working on the book … usually that is enough, except for a court of law.

I’m not expecting to need my official copyright, but it was only $35.

I have done the “poor man’s copyright” and snail mailed myself a copy of all three of written books. I did that a while ago. But, for just $35, it is nice to have peace of mind that my book is registered to me. 🙂
