Thank you for subscribing/resubscribing to my newsletter. I send out occasional news, updates, and relevant promotional material related to my novels, short stories, anthologies, and other book-related items.

You’re information was collected through marketing I’ve done, usually involving a free download of one of my novels or short stories.

I do not sell, share, or give away your data. Your private information is stored in my personal MailChimp, Story Origin, and Instafreebie accounts, and my personal computer that only I have access to. You can unsubscribe from my newsletter at any time. You can also send me a message (through my contact form on this site) and request that all your personal data (email address is what I usually only have) is deleted or modified (for instance if you have a new email address).

I want to thank you for visiting my Privacy Policy page. No legalese here. Just a plain, simple, easy-to-understand policy, letting you know what I do with your information and how safe it is with me.

How I Gather Information

I build my mailing list in two major ways – giveaways and people who join via my VIP Club signup. Giveaways may be run under any platform and include, but are not limited to, AuthorPlatformRocket.com, InstaFreebie.com, StoryOrigin, or Rafflecopter.com. If you join one of my giveaways, you’ll also be joining my mailing list, or what I like to call my VIP Club. Being 100% honest and transparent, I hold giveaways to help build my fan base and try to offer prizes that are reader-oriented – Amazon Gift Cards, signed paperback or eBook copies – stuff readers like. Granted, some of the prizes can be used for things other than books, but it is my hope that those joining the giveaway are also showing an interest in my books.

My Policy on Entering My Contests

With that being said, don’t be upset with me because you start getting emails from me if you didn’t want to receive them. My giveaways clearly state who and what email lists you’re joining when you sign up, so the messages I’m sending to you are not SPAM. SPAM is defined as “irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent on the Internet to a large number of recipients.” My giveaways are about my books and reading, and the emails I’m sending are about the same thing, which means they are not irrelevant or inappropriate.   Actually, if you don’t want to be on my mailing list, don’t join the giveaway. It’s as simple as that.

However, joining my mailing list affords you free short stories, flash fiction, graphics for your computer and smartphones, which have themes related to my books, and notifications of members-only gifts, giveaways, events, and, of course, news and teasers about my books – already published and new releases. The newsletter is a lot of fun to be a part of.
